Jewelry with traditional Romanian designs

On Romania’s National Day, we invite you to discover the beauty of Romanian traditions transposed into the art of modern jewelry, in a unique course organized by Voicu Galleries.

Jewellery course details

This special course combines two ancient and valuable techniques:

The construction and processing of metal into jewelry, a meticulous art that transforms raw silver into true works of art.
A traditional folk stitching technique, which brings to life authentic Romanian motifs, like those embroidered on ii or other household objects.

Participants will have the opportunity to create unique pieces such as pendants or pierced silver earrings decorated with traditional designs.

We will use fine drills to recreate motifs inspired by Romanian heritage, reviving ancient symbols with a modern approach.

The school offers you all the technical support you need to enjoy the course experience.

You will have access to well-equipped work tables and specific modeling tools. The school also provides you with the necessary raw materials such as silver and colored thread.

The school awards a maximum of 10 grams of silver for the jewelry piece. The additional quantity will be purchased at cost.

*The price does not include VAT and is the final price to be paid by the learner. The silver piece you will make during the course is included in the price.

I chose to teach out of the need and desire to pass on the information gathered in my 10 years of experience and hundreds of hours of classes and experiments.

I love teaching because I love the idea of a growing and developing community of jewelers. And last but not least, I get a particularly strong personal joy when I see amazing pieces created by a learner using a technique learned in one of my classes.

I think that kind of joy can only be felt by a teacher or a parent.
