JEWELLERY SCHOOL
About Voicu Galleries
The Voicu Galleries School of Jewellery was born out of a double need: that of passing on the love for contemporary jewellery and the knowledge acquired on the one hand, but also out of the need to create a specialised workforce in this field.

Connecting space
Our school is not only a place to learn, but also a hub for connection. Here, our learners have the chance to interact not only with each other, but also with experienced creators and designers, facilitating a valuable exchange of knowledge and experience.

The jewellery school was born for several reasons
The love for metal
The first and most important thing would be the love for metal, for the manual processing of it, and the love for jewelry.
Reconnecting with us
With the reorganization of each of our lives in today’s global context, we realized that this kind of activity, where you totally give your mind and soul to create something physical, something solid, helps us a lot to reconnect with ourselves and to rebalance, to find ourselves, to express ourselves.
Expression
Another reason was the people around us who shared their stories with us, stories that we transformed into pieces of jewelry. We believe it’s now their turn, as some of them wish to express themselves through metal.
Specialist jewellers
Last but not least, the shortage of specialized and qualified jewelers that we encountered when the J Kult workshop expanded. This need for a skilled workforce is also felt in the market by other colleagues who have various workshops or local jewelry brands.

Teacher
Gabriela Secărea
I chose to teach out of the need and desire to pass on the information gathered in my 10 years of experience and hundreds of hours of classes and experiments.
I love teaching because I love the idea of a growing and developing community of jewelers. And last but not least, I get a particularly strong personal joy when I see amazing pieces created by a learner using a technique learned in one of my classes.
I think that kind of joy can only be felt by a teacher
or a parent.
Teacher
Gabriel Zuică
Jeweller and jewellery maker with more than 35 years of experience, Gabriel Zuică is a member of the Romanian Gemological Centre. Before becoming a jeweller, Gabriel was an engraver. That’s why our setting course will have the good fortune to start with some basic engraving techniques.

Testimonials
They say: "theory like theory, but practice kills us" ... it was a practical course (and nobody had to suffer), exhilarating and exciting at the same time, we went through all the steps to be done for stone setting. We worked with individually provided tools and instruments. I gained extremely useful knowledge, the whole course was held in a pleasant environment with good mood. Congratulations to the organizers and our trainer Gabi. Thank you!

A very well-organized and structured course, so much so that I was able to go through many stone setting techniques and easily absorb all the information. I was surprised at how quickly I gained a lot of confidence in working on something new by myself, something complex that initially seemed difficult to undertake.

This course gave me freedom. I wanted to create some organic jewellery, closer to nature, but I didn't know how to do that. Now I have discovered it. The atmosphere of the course was wonderful and I learned everything I need to continue making jewellery in my studio.

I would like to add a few things that were not said: it's a zen space with a beautiful atmosphere where you have absolutely everything you need to learn, here I mean both materials and tools and cutters that are new. The teacher who teaches the course has very very very many years of practical experience, is patient and a great man (he's modest, but I can praise him). I would say many more things but I'll let you discover them, I can only guarantee that this course will take you to the next level.

Hello, I curiously stepped into the house where the Wax course was held. The first impact was " wow, how lucky I am to attend the course in such an elegant and bohemian location" I met Gabriela and it was love at first sight, a beautiful, open, patient and attentive person and a GOOD TEACHER. These 3 days whetted my appetite to continue. I gained a lot of information and there was a lot of emphasis on my own creative spirit! I highly recommend the wax course for those who want to learn how to create their own jewelry!!!
